NEW RULES – Short-term accommodations in London (Airbnb & VRBO)

Are you a London Short-Term Accommodation (STA) Host? ❗❗❗ If so, there are some HUGE changes coming into effect! ⚠  As of October 1, 2022 ➡ Hosts must obtain a short-term rental business license ➡ A license would require inspections and charging the four per cent municipal accommodation tax (hotel tax) ➡ Hosts can only rent space on their own primary property “Several councillors wanted to have the new business licensing in place before homecoming
